Honoring Old Glory
May, 01 2016 8am - 5pm

Flag Retirement Program (Ongoing) Lambeth-Troxler Funeral & Cremation Service is pleased to announce our flag retirement program! We're very excited about this endeavor and are honored to be the only funeral home in the area that offers a flag retirement program. In Title 4, Chapter 1, Section 8 of the United States Code, concerning the American Flag it reads that "the flag, when it is in such condition that it is no longer a fitting emblem for display, should be destroyed in a dignified way, preferably by burning." Taking this into account, Lambeth-Troxler thought that it would be a great idea to honor our fallen veterans by placing a donated flag with them when they are buried or cremated. This will honor the veteran and also correctly destroy the flag with the dignity and respect that the United States Code requires. If you would like to participate in the program, simply bring your flags to the funeral home or give us a call at 336-273-3401 and we'll come to you! Read More
